Gentle Yoga for Stress Relief with Nonie Arthurs

Begin your week with slow, thoughtful movement. Postures/asanas will be held for several breaths to allow the body to fully relax, and modifications will be given. This class is suitable for beginners or those returning to their practice.

This class will be simple, fun and super relaxing! You will leave feeling lighter and able to conquer your day with ease and peacefulness.  

Plan on wearing clothing that allows for free movement and keep you covered as you bend/twist, hair ties to keep your hands free, and please no perfumes or heavy scents

Please bring your own mat; we have just a few to share.

About the instructor:

Nonie Arthurs  RYT 300+ 

I began my love affair with yoga in 2005 as rehabilitation after three surgeries which left me in poor physical and mental health. I needed something to help me release all the things I was feeling in my body and mind that were not serving me. Yoga did just that. My hard work and perseverance paid off! 

My love of yoga was so great that I decided to become a teacher. I have studied with many talented teachers and I love to share knowledge. I have taught and truly enjoy teaching many community and public classes, as well as working 1-on-1 with private clients.

I have had the pleasure of teaching in Panama, Brazil and at my own studio located in Negril, Jamaica, which opened in 2015.  

Let me share with you the beauty and healing that resides within us all through asana, breath work, mantra and mudras.
